Ignacio Tornero

LEGAL DIRECTOR

Ignacio is a recognised Chilean attorney and a key figure connecting China and Latin America. He was in charge of opening the China office of one of the leading law firms in Latin America (Carey), where he lived and worked for 6 years.

He teaches China-related courses at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, and is an affiliate researcher at its Center for International Studies. He also sits on the advisory board of Tsinghua University’s Latam Centre.

Ignacio helps our partners by providing comprehensive advice regarding South America, and permanently builds relationships with China.

Ignacio holds an LLB from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, an MBA from the University of British Columbia, and is a fluent Mandarin speaker.
